Should i tell him how i feel?

ok so a couple of years ago (4-5) i had an english teacher how was just majorly hot. i had a huge crush on him back in the day and i still think about him from time to time. i was 14-15 at the time so of course nothing could happen. he left the country and is traveling now. i kinda thought i would send him a message on fb telling him how i feel. should i do it or it would be super awkward? lol. im 19 now and he could be in his late 20's. is this a completely stupid idea?
